Evolution is usually a time process, where change can come instantaneously, our newly elected President, Barack Obama, ran a campaign on change, the campaign had been evolving his entire life, even thought he may not have known it. Then on November 4th 2008 it changed instantaneously, then in another instant it change again on January 20th 2009, when he was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States of America.
Man over the centuries has evolved from one reality to another, sometimes by force other times by nature. We live in a world that has evolved greatly, but many of us refuse the change that evolution always brings. Evolution according to Webster: a process in which the whole universe is a progression of interrelated phenomena, one of a set of prescribed movements2 a: a process of change in a certain direction : unfolding b: the action or an instance of forming and giving something off : emission c (1): a process of continuous change from a lower, simpler, or worse to a higher, more complex, or better state : growth (2): a process of gradual and relatively peaceful social, political, and economic advance d: something evolved3: the process of working out or developing.
Change according to Webster: 1 a: to make different in some particular: alter <never bothered to change the will> b: to make radically different: transform <can't change human nature> c: to give a different position, course, or direction to2 a: to replace with another <let's change the subject> b: to make a shift from one to another: In short our mind has already evolved but we are refusing to change, for fear of the change itself. We fear for things that sometimes never happen, at other times it may happen, and the reason it does is because we draw it to us. Our thought process is like a magnet, continuing to draw to itself what we continually think about, how? Because mind is energy, and if you know anything about energy, like energy attracts like energy. The Evolution of change is a manual, of spiritual, scientific, and universal laws that apply to everything in the universe and whether or not you believe it or understand it, does not preclude it of from being truth.
Evolution never changes, although it evolves, its underline principle is and always will be the same. It may take different forms and different shapes, but the nature is the same.
You do not look like you did when you were born, there may be similarities, but your still the same person, your thinking may have changed but it does not change who you really are. You can change your name or appearance but you are still you.
Like others before me, after a normal childhood and typical normal life, I always knew within there was something different about me. Not that I was special, but deep within the unseen spiritual part of my being, lay somewhat of pulling sensation a tug of short, that said there is more to life than what we understand or have been taught. Growing up in a typical Christian home, learning what was then called the golden rules, I was reared under the strong belief, to acknowledge God in everything I did, and try an live a life as close to perfection as possible. Like some of us, I was also lead to believe in a place called Heaven and Hell, it was said that good people to heaven and bad people go the hell, although I questioned the reasoning of this deep within, I accepted it as reality, for the one's that passed this information to me, where those whom I looked up to, including parents, grandparents, teachers pastors and those who had a major influence in my life.
At the age of eighteen I started my journey, wondering as we all shall one day wonder, what life was all about, I realized even then that life was an evolving process. After being raised Baptist and Methodist, I decided to try something different. I joined the Church Of God In Christ, here I thought surely I would find what I was seeking, and although it was one of the greatest experiences in my life, 20 years or so later I was still hungry for more. I had enrolled in school and earned a BS, MBA and finally a Doctorate in Theology, during my later studies I started my own ministry, and was afforded the opportunity to travel abroad and around the country were churches and ministries became a part of the larger fellowship I had created, what I saw heard and realized during that time were days of awakening. One Sunday morning I walked into the Church that I had successfully built and announced that this would be the last service; you can imagine how the membership took the news. Prior to making that announcement, the ministry had begun a period of transformation, whereby my teaching and speaking had begun to change. I looked out into the congregation one day and ask a question within myself, “Why were all the people still suffering, and living defeated lives”? What I heard forever changed my life, the voice I heard was not some deep voice with thunder or lightning, but my own still voice, that said "It's because of there thinking" I was quickly reminded of what Solomon said in the Proverbs "that what a man thinks in his heart so is he". It was at this crossroad to reality and truth, was where my real journey began, to began to speak the things I knew in my spirit were of sound truth. As a human race, all will walk in sleep like spiritual state, until that day when true self shows us a glimpse of the real truth. It is in this time when we truly awaken to the reality of who and what we are. Not everyone will awaken, millions will continue to sleep, without ever realizing the state of mind in which they currently live and believe they have no control.
I understood that it would take an evolution of the mind to understand this, evolution of the mind, means a changing of the guard, or awakening to a new understanding. As long as man has been in existence evolution has consistently taken place, we move from level to level then from dimension to dimension, ever changing in and out of form, from the image of God to our individual selves. Yet we have no idea of what and who we are, and the power that we as a human race posse. From The Buddha to The Christ, and others before and after, all agree on one or more things, in particular that we create the atmosphere in which we live, and we not God, controls the conditions in which we live. We must evolve from were we are, to a more knowledgeable understanding of our relationship with the universe or God, if we expect to survive in the conditions in which we now live. Simply being involved in religion is no longer the answer as a whole, we as a race must evolve from a state of sleep to an awakening of the oness with who we are.. In short it is a state of growing, as with childhood to adulthood, the older we get the wiser one should become.
Fear is another the reason why it seems we never get anywhere, we worry about issues, that has not yet happened, and we focus so much of our energy into this fear, until the thing we fear becomes the reality. Understand reality is only what we make it to be, and universal mind will give us exactly what we ask, the only thing spirit knows is what we ask it to do in our lives, it can act out on it’s own, it must have the energy from us and in turn manifest the desired thought from within us. So if your in fear, the universal mind knows no fear, but it must give back what you ask it for. The scriptures say faith without works is dead, it’s not that you have to work real hard, but you must be willing to put aside your thoughts and emotions, or what you think is reality, and realize that all is perfection in spirit and you being one with that spirit, can not be denied, or failed. We hold guilt trips within us about past events and this causes one to continue to have a very unnatural negative mindset.
Crime is at an all time high in world, and mindset is the reasoning behind it, we want to build basketball courts, after school programs, mentors, what good does it do? We can only change once our mindset changes, we spend money, time and energy on all of these programs, but unless we can redirect the thinking of those committing the crimes, crime will continue to escalate. If you a parent, is so important to instill positives into your children, shield them as much as you can, even thought you can not be there 24 hours a day, but as the saying charity begins at home. It is future of our country and the world, that our youth be educated not with schooling but also with as good and positive things we can give them. If look at the youth and adults that commit most of the crime, we would find these individuals come hard-pressed and broken homes. Although in most cases you as an individual can nothing about it, you can begin to reinforce attitude into your children, and if you know of a troubled youth, do not be afraid to call the young or older person aside and say look, don’t preach to them, tell them that you care and you only want what’s good for them, let them know it does not matter about there past, but what counts is now. There is no condemnation in the universal mind.
